Mount Olive High School Jazz Ensemble

The Mount Olive High School Jazz Ensemble is excited to participate for the first time at the 2014 Berklee High School Jazz Festival. The Jazz Ensemble is audition-based and comprised of twenty six students. The ensemble has traveled to festivals mainly in the surrounding area of Northern New Jersey, including festivals at Livingston and North Warren High Schools. In May 2013, the Ensemble traveled to Cape May County, New Jersey and participated at a “Music in the Parks” festival, just outside of Wildwood, New Jersey.
Guest clinicians that have worked with the ensemble include Larry Markiewiecz, Dr. Jeffrey Kunkel, Craig Yaremko, Kenny Lavender, and Kevin Sheehan.
