Joe Bongiovi

Joe Bongiovi is in his 9th year as the Princeton High School Studio Band Director. In that time, the Studio Band has placed first at the Berklee Festival 6 times (2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014).
Mr. Bongiovi is also the director/owner of the Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra (PJO). PJO is an all-star big band featuring the best collegiate jazz musicians in the Philadelphia and New Jersey region. PJO is entering its 13th season and has toured Europe 7 times including performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
Mr. Bongiovi earned a BM in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music in 1999 and a Master’s Degree in Music Education from The University Of The Arts in 2003.
