Drum Clinic
Berklee alum Kendrick Scott has been featured in Terence Blanchard’s band for the last six years and has appeared on the Grammy Award-winning and nominated recordings, A Tale of God’s Will, and Flow. Scott has appeared on more than 30 records as a sideman, and on the soundtracks to seven feature films.

The Lyrical Approach to Latin Jazz: Adopting Cuban and Brazilian Rhythms to Your Ensemble
Pianist, musicologist, educator and author Rebeca Mauleón and saxophonist, educator and ensemble director Paul Contos explore and demystify some of the myriad styles associated with Latin music. Featuring members of the San Francisco Jazz High School All-Stars, this clinic will highlight the practical use of the Real Easy Book format for teaching some of the world’s most intriguing styles.
Hailey Niswanger ’11
Saxophone Improvisation Clinic
Berklee alum Hailey Niswanger has shared the stage with Dee Dee Bridgewater, George Duke, George Garzone, and other jazz greats. She has performed at the 2010 and 2011 Panama Jazz Festival, 2010 Newport and Monterey Jazz Festivals, and the Blue Note in New York. In the fall of 2009, Niswanger was named the alto saxophonist in the Either/Orchestra and has performed with them at the Teatro Manzoni in Milan, Italy, the 2010 Chicago Jazz Festival, Ethiopia, and at various venues around New England.
