Take Note Award
Now accepting applications!
Berklee College of Music announces Take Note: The Berklee Award for Innovative Teaching, which recognizes excellence, commitment, and innovation in the teaching and development of contemporary music education. Applications for the award are now open!
Berklee College of Music was founded on the revolutionary principle that the best way to prepare students for careers in music is through the study and practice of contemporary music. For more than half a century, the college has evolved to reflect the state of the art of music and the music business.
There’s no such thing as a typical Berklee student. There are students who were playing instruments as toddlers, and those who studied music later in life. While there are similarities among students, each has taken a unique path to our summer programs. What will yours be?
The Berklee Performance Center is located at 136 Massachusetts Avenue, in Boston’s historic Back Bay. The BPC, which is both the college’s flagship performance space and one of Boston’s most prestigious concert halls, is easily accessible by public transportation, with parking available in neighboring garages.
